MIM #161 Watercolor Splats

Ohhh - everything is about watercoloring at the moment - and it just looks SO lovely! :-)
Haven`t made a card with this technique though so ..... Make it Monday is the perfect opportunity once more to give it a try!
Please excuse the bad quality of my picture but I REALLY wanted to get my card posted as - otherwise - I know me and it will stay in my craft room for weeks unposted :-)))))

I grabbed a piece of Stamper`s Select White paper and started sponging smaller and larger circles in various colors (raspberry fizz, winter wisteria and lavender moon). Then I filled the spaces and blended all the circles together by sponging sweet blush. Then put water onto everything (the fun part) :-)
I think the card would have been perfectly fine with just the raspberry fizz cardbase and the panel on top of it but I found a piece of script paper - just a smaller left over - and decided to use it as well. Sponged the edges of it with iced spruce distress ink.
Ran my cardbase through my cuttlebug using the woodgrain impression plate and adhered all pieces together.
What do you think? Is is OK for my first try?
Thank you so much for visiting!!!!
