CFC 92: wallpaper

A few weeks ago I got a new paper smooches background stamp that I wanted to use and this challenge is the perfect opportunity to do so. You find the challenge here: CAS-ual Fridays challenge
Heat embossed the pattern with white embossing powder and then coloured the squares with my distress markers. Then I sprayed some glimmer mist (just water with perfect pearls) onto everything. The colours blended  so nicely and the perfect pearls give them a really beautiful shine.
Then I went over the the whole pattern again with my blending tool and some iced spruce distress ink so that the space inbetween the squares wouldn`t be just blank.
The damask pattern was stamped onto clear cardstock and I popped it up with some foam dots.
Hope you like my card ... it sure was fun to create! :-)

cardstock: simply chartreuse (PI) , true black (PI), ocean tides (PI)
stamps: hip to be square (paper smooches), damask design (PI), thinking of you (PI - over, under, easy stamp set)
other: distress marker, iced spruce distress ink, black ink (memento)
