MIM #88 and challenge #15 on a blog named Hero

Okay .... here I go again! :-)
It`s really cool when you get some inspiration from time to time, definitely for me. Otherwise I get too lazy, ha!
When I saw the MIM video - using positive and negative die cuts -  I immediately had in mind to try this technique on a mat stack. So - that`s what I did. First I die cut a mega mat stack 5 out of summer sunrise cardstock. Then I die cut the frame of pretty peonies out of the middle and 2 of the bigger flowers on the edges. I stamped the frame and two leaves in ripe avocado ink and used two positive die cuts of the smaller flower in the set to decorate the frame. These were cut out of terracotta tile cardstock and stamped with brown ink. I also used a white gel pen to make tiny dots on the small flowers.
Card base is terracotta tile and I matted everything on some brown cardstock.
I used vintage photo distress ink around the edges of the white panel and sprayed the whole thing with glimmer mist. Really sparkly in real life!!! :-))))
You might be able to see some of the glimmer on the second picture.
Please feel free to leave a comment (this always makes my day :-))
Thanks for stopping by....
