MIM #117: paper piecing

Melissa showed us some beautiful paper piecing this week on a flower stamped on patterned paper. She makes oh so beautiful cards - I think I will not even come close to creating such a card even when I`ve been crafting for AGES.... :-)
But, it`s supposed to be fun, right? And I had fun creating this card and that`s all that matters in the end!
I used the sweet fox from PI, he is absolutely adorable! The patterned paper was soft stone pp (for the ears, nose and a bit of the tail) and aqua mist pp for the rest of his body.
Embossed the `hello foxy´ with silver embossing powder for a bit of shine on my card.
I had this idea of using some brads just to give the card another fun twist... :-))))
As I said - I had fun creating this card. Hope you like it :-)

cardstock: rustic white, true black, ocean tides (all PI)
ink: versamark, ocean tides
other: brads (SU), twine, patterned paper (aqua mist, soft stone), woodgrain impression plate (PI)
