MIM #93, splitting die cuts

For this week`s challenge I split up the winterberry tree die in order to be able to stamp my greeting in the space in between.
The winterberry stamp set is one of my favourites, such a lovely tree image!
I also impressed my red card base with PI`s linen & canvas impression plate - it`s a very sublte effect, really nice in real life! I wanted to accent it just a bit more so i rubbed some white ink over the edges and some parts of the cardbase.
The trees were die cut out of distressed dots patterned paper and stamped in black ink. The only embellishments are a few gems and three tiny bows bows on top of the trees.
