Just cannot seem to get enough of this cool chalkboard technique and wanted to make another card.
This time I thought of creating a frame around my `chalkboard´ and I thought that limeade ice would be a nice contrast to black ... so I gave it a try.
I embossed it with my woodgrain impression plate and then distressed it with some iced spruce ink and cut out the frame.
On my black cardstock I embossed the frame of the `Simply Jane´ Stamp Set and stamped some roses of that same set into each of the corners. Then I used some REALLY bright (and cool :-)) greenish/blueish embossing powder for the hydrangea in the middle. I start liking color embossing I have to say, especially on black cardstock!
3 black buttons at the upper left corner gave the finishing touch.
I`m glad that in the end I liked the combination of black and limeade ice ... it adds some freshness to the card I think.
Have a nice day everyone!
