I never think of using stamps that weren`t designed for a backgrounds just for that - even though it`s not a difficult thing to do. Just never happens with me ....
I liked her card because that `outlined stamp looks like a brick wall, don`t you think? Pretty!
Well ... so what I came up with turned out to become a little nightmare. It is NOT what I had planned but I just hate to throw away cardstock or stamped panels so I tried to still make something reasonably nice
I used a sentiment from `calendar basics stamp set` for the background and the flowers from ´morning by morning´.
My second card uses the frame from `sweet spring stamp set´ as a background in soft stone ink. I then inked up my ´natural beauties´ (oh - and beautiful they are!) in pure poppy combined with plum pudding and winter wisteria with plum pudding. Sentiment is from `everyday happiness` stamped with black ink. I also put some black stickles onto the center of my flowers. Mmmh... liked it better without it ;-)
